Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workforce Director to lead our Sydney team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Workforce or Venue management, coupled with expertise in cultivating strategic partnerships.
As the Workforce Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving continued success across our client portfolio, developing strategic partnerships, overseeing workforce planning and ensuring the seamless operation to our venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new Workforce & Event related business through the identification of potential clients through your industry network & beyond.
  • Manage the Workforce budget of incoming revenue vs operational costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize venue operations and enhance the overall guest experience for our partners.
  • Leadership of our Sydney Workforce division, providing direction on all aspects of the client relationship & project management.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Sydney Workforce team.
  • Collaborate with our broader Workforce team to ensure appropriate recruitment, training, and retention efforts to build a skilled and motivated team to deliver our clients’ requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Human Resources or a related field.
    Minimum of 7 years of experience in workforce management, partnership development, and/or venue operations, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
